Company Activity
Barter S.A., a Joint Stock Company operating since 1999, is a company with 100% Polish capital, dynamically developing in the gas sector. In 2005, the company received a certificate for an Integrated Management System, compliant with the ISO 9001 standard. We have implemented systems that serve as a guarantee for our clients’ quality care and environmental concerns. Barter S.A. boasts a team of experienced Coordinators who professionally meet the expectations of even the most demanding clients.
The primary activity profile of the Company is the sale and distribution of liquefied gas, LNG, and fertilizers. With its headquarters in Białystok, Barter S.A. has 6 branches across Poland. The company owns its transshipment terminal in Sokółka, which is mainly responsible for the transshipment, storage, and distribution of liquefied gas, coal, and mineral fertilizers. Furthermore, the recently completed investment is a modern intermodal terminal, which has broad applications for container transshipment. Barter S.A. continuously expands its operations. Our current investment is the Transshipment Terminal in Sławków, which will have innovative communication solutions in the form of so-called universal tracks for unloading and loading wide-gauge and standard-gauge railway tanks. The terminal already has storage tanks with a capacity of 5 × 600 m3. There will also be two railway weighbridges for weighing wide-gauge and standard-gauge tanks, as well as two platform scales for weighing tank trucks and trucks. There will also be a bottling plant for filling cylinders of various capacities. The terminal is equipped with specialized equipment for full control, protection, and monitoring of gas moving in the technological installation and storage tanks by current environmental protection regulations.

Call for Submission of Shares in the Company
In connection with the entry into force of the Act of 30 August 2019 amending the Commercial Companies Code and certain other acts (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1798), hereinafter referred to as the “Act,” Barter Joint Stock Company with its registered office in Białystok (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) informs shareholders about the introduction of mandatory dematerialization of shares of companies into the Polish legal order, which means replacing the paper form of shares with electronic recording in the shareholders’ register maintained by the entity referred to in Article 3281 § 2 of the Commercial Companies Code as amended by the Act.

The main profile of the company’s activities is the sale and distribution of liquefied gas, LNG, and fertilizers. The company owns its transshipment terminal in Sokółka, whose main tasks include transshipment, storage, and distribution of liquefied gas, coal, and mineral fertilizers. BARTER S.A. operates gas bottling plants located in Barczewo, Bydgoszcz, Sokółka, Sosnowiec, and Żary, equipped with modern equipment and technological lines, storage tanks for liquefied gas, own railway sidings with transshipment points, modern tank trucks for transporting liquefied gas, and delivery vans for transporting cylinders. It is also a licensed railway carrier.
Moreover, Barter has modern liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification stations, characterized by the highest energy standards. LNG is delivered to customers directly from Polish terminals, including those in Świnoujście, or imported from other European terminals. The excellent infrastructure of the company allows for the continuity of work and timely deliveries to all contractors.
Barter S.A. is one of the founding members of the employers’ association – the Polish LNG Platform. The Platform operates as an industry cluster, where individual entities mutually utilize their experiences, support each other, and promote the LNG industry – not only in maritime transport but also in road transport and industry.
