BARTER S.A. has an extensive infrastructure to ensure that all our customers receive gas in the quantities ordered, always on time. We do not rely on external subcontractors. We rely on our team of permanent employees, both in terms of Drivers (of which we have over 100 nationwide) and Regional Coordinators, who oversee the proper and fast distribution of gas cylinders in every corner of our country. Additionally, the vehicles used by our employees are our fleet of delivery vans and trucks.

BARTER S.A., as a market-leading company in the field of liquefied gas, pays special attention to safety, so please familiarize yourself with the most important issues in this regard:
- How to safely connect the cylinder?
- How to know if the cylinder is safe?
Before ordering gas in a cylinder, make sure you are directing your order to a safe and reputable supplier. Below are the most important safety issues to consider:
- Before purchasing gas in a cylinder, make sure the seal visible on the valve bears the BARTER logo. Only this is a guarantee that the cylinder was filled in our facilities. The gray color of the cylinder or the Barter logo on the cylinder’s wall does not mean that the cylinder was filled in our facilities.
- Keep the seal and receipt for any potential complaints.
- If you order gas with a connection service, make sure the Driver has current authorization to connect the cylinders. If in doubt, ask the delivery person to show the current authorizations.
- Make sure the cylinder has a valid inspection date, which should be visible on the cylinder’s shell. Avoid cylinders with an inspection date written by a marker on the cylinder’s shell.
- Cylinders should only be transported in an upright position. Also, secure it against shifting.
- Store the purchased cylinder in well-ventilated rooms. Never store cylinders in the basement (below ground level).
- The room where the cylinder is used should not exceed 35°C.
- Never place the cylinder near heat sources.

Cylinder capacity depends on the type of gas. The travel cylinders are available in 2, 3 and 5 kg capacities. We offer propane-butane gas (including specialty gas) in 11 and 33 kg cylinders, and propane gas in 10 and 30 kg cylinders.

Yes, we deliver gas in cylinders throughout the country.
Propane-butane gas works best for appliances with low gas consumption. It is most often used in gas stoves. Propane gas is often used in various types of construction burners - it can also be used at low temperatures. Specialized propane-butane gas will be suitable for gas-powered equipment, such as forklifts. In the case of tourist cylinders, we fill them with a mixture of propane and butane.
Propane heats up to higher temperatures than propane-butane during combustion. It is also more resistant to low temperatures than a mixture of two gases. It can be used outdoors.

BARTER S.A. is a company with 100% Polish capital, dynamically developing in the energy sector. The company has been operating in the industry since 1999.
The main profile of the company’s activities is the sale and distribution of liquefied gas, LNG, and fertilizers. The company owns its transshipment terminal in Sokółka, whose main tasks include transshipment, storage, and distribution of liquefied gas, coal, and mineral fertilizers. BARTER S.A. operates gas bottling plants located in Barczewo, Bydgoszcz, Sokółka, Sosnowiec, and Żary, equipped with modern equipment and technological lines, storage tanks for liquefied gas, own railway sidings with transshipment points, modern tank trucks for transporting liquefied gas, and delivery vans for transporting cylinders. It is also a licensed railway carrier.
Moreover, Barter has modern liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification stations, characterized by the highest energy standards. LNG is delivered to customers directly from Polish terminals, including those in Świnoujście, or imported from other European terminals. The excellent infrastructure of the company allows for the continuity of work and timely deliveries to all contractors.
Barter S.A. is one of the founding members of the employers’ association – the Polish LNG Platform. The Platform operates as an industry cluster, where individual entities mutually utilize their experiences, support each other, and promote the LNG industry – not only in maritime transport but also in road transport and industry.
